THE CLARITY
SESSION

INTERIOR DESIGN CONSULT

A 60-minute design consult built for the self-designing homeowner who needs an expert set of eyes before the money is spent and the point of no return arrives.

THIS IS FOR YOU IF…

—> You've been planning your project for months and you're ready to move BUT something in your gut is telling you to get a second opinion first.

—> You're making the design decisions yourself and you want an expert to pressure-test your plan before money leaves your account.

—> You've done the research, you know what you like, and you just need someone to tell you what you might be missing.

—> You're afraid of making a change you can't undo or spending on something that won't work the way you pictured it.

—> You want honest, direct feedback. NOT flattery or a sales pitch for services you didn't ask for.

THIS IS NOT FOR YOU IF…

—> You're looking for a designer to take the project off your hands. This session is built for the homeowner in the driver's seat, not a handoff.

—>You're expecting full design concepts, mood boards, or product selections. That's a different scope, and it deserves a different service.

—>You're not yet sure what direction you want to go. The Clarity Session works best when you've already got a plan and need expert eyes on it, not when you're starting from zero.

—>‍ ‍You want validation more than honesty. I'll tell you what I see, including the parts that need to change.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

Before we meet, you'll send over your plans, photos, and the specific questions keeping you up at night. We spend real time with them… not skimming, but reviewing the way someone who's seen hundreds of these does. By the time we sit down together, we already know where the friction is.

The 60 minutes themselves are working time. We move through your layout, your selections, and the trade-offs you're weighing and we tell you plainly what's working, what isn't, and where the real risks are hiding. You'll leave with a written summary, prioritized next steps, and a recording so you can revisit anything you didn't catch in the moment.

Most clients walk away with one or two clear shifts that change the trajectory of their entire renovation. That's the point: not more to think about, but the clarity that arrives before, not after a five-figure mistake.

  • A pre-session review of your submitted design brief.

  • A 60-minute working session (virtual, or in-person for local clients).

  • Real-time problem-solving and design direction.

  • Honest feedback on what's working and what isn't.

  • A written summary with prioritized next steps.

  • A recording of the session so you can stay in the conversation, not in your notes.

WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED

  • Drawings, elevations, or material samples

  • Ongoing design support after the session

THE MISTAKE IS ALWAYS CHEAPER BEFORE YOU MAKE IT!

You already know something could go wrong.
That's why you're still on this page.

Stop negotiating with the doubt and get the answer. Sixty minutes from now you could know exactly what to fix, what to keep, and what would have cost you.

THE INVESTMENT

$295 | VIRTUAL $395 | IN-PERSON

Sixty minutes with someone who has spent 20 years in construction and 10 in design. Who knows exactly where good intentions can quietly turn into expensive mistakes.

This session isn't just for renovation projects either! It's for anyone about to commit to something they can't easily undo.

  • The sofa that looked right online but won't work in the room.

  • The layout that feels logical until you're living in it.

  • The finish or fixture that seemed like a safe choice until it wasn't.

The mistakes I catch aren't always structural. Sometimes they're a furniture plan that fights the room instead of working with it. Sometimes they're a kitchen layout that's going to cost you more than it should when the crew shows up. Either way, they're the kind of thing you don't see until it's too late, unless you know what to look for.

Most clients leave with a short list of adjustments that save them from decisions they would have regretted.

—> Not sure if you're at the right stage in your project?
The FAQ below will help you figure that out.

F.A.Q

  • Absolutely. The Clarity Session is for any project where you're about to commit to something you can't easily undo. That includes furniture layouts, material selections, paint color schemes, and lighting plans just as much as it includes kitchens and bathroom renovations. If money is about to leave your account and you want an expert opinion first, this session was built for you.

  • No…and that's intentional. This session is not a design service. It's an expert review of the plan or direction you already have. You'll leave with clarity on what's working, what needs to change, and what to watch out for. Not a mood board or a shopping list. If you decide after the session that you want fuller design support, we can talk about what that looks like.

  • Far enough that you have a direction. You don't need finished plans or final selections — but you should have a general vision, a space you're working with, and at least a few decisions already in motion. If you're still in the "I have no idea what I want" stage, this session won't serve you as well as it could. Sit with your ideas a little longer and come back when you're ready to pressure-test them.

If you already have a contractor you trust, we'll work directly with them. We're not territorial about who builds the work but we're particular about how it gets built.

  • Come with whatever you have. Photos of your space, measurements, inspiration images, product links, a floor plan sketch, a list of questions. The more context you can share before we meet the better, which is why you'll receive a short questionnaire form after booking. You don't need anything polished. Bring the messy middle and we'll work with it.

  • For most projects, virtual works beautifully. We’ll share our screens, photos, and plans in real time and we'll work through everything together. In-person is worth considering if your project involves spatial decisions that are hard to communicate through a screen — like flow between rooms, natural light at different times of day, or anything where being in the physical space would change the conversation. AND you are located in Oregon. Not sure which is right for you? Book virtual and we can reassess.

  • That happens… and it's okay. If it becomes clear mid-session that you want a deeper level of support, we'll talk about next steps. You'll never be pushed toward a service you didn't ask for, but you also won't be left without options if you need them.

A LITTLE CLARITY NOW IS WORTH A LOT OF REGRET LATER!

You've spent real time on this project.

Researching, planning, second-guessing, starting over, Repeat.
That effort deserves a second set of expert eyes before it becomes a done deal.

One hour. One honest conversation. And you'll know exactly where you stand.
